Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, submitting a URL, running an audit, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms, and "you" refers to that business.

2. Description of the service

Corbin is an AI-native visibility platform. The Service analyzes publicly available information about a business and its website, measures how that business appears and is cited across search and AI answer engines, produces an audit with an Answer Readiness score, and recommends actions to improve visibility. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the Service evolves.

3. Accounts and eligibility

A basic audit may be run without an account by submitting a URL. Full reports, historical tracking, and other features require a registered account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@trycorbin.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit URLs for businesses you do not own or are not authorized to represent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service, except as permitted by law.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure.
• Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or authentication mechanisms.
• Use the Service to build a competing product, or to violate any applicable law or third-party right.
• Upload or transmit malware or use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.

5. The audit and the data we analyze

The audit analyzes only publicly accessible data about the business and URL you submit. We do not log in to, access non-public systems of, or modify any website. The audit reflects what we can observe from public sources at the time it runs.

Scores, benchmarks, and projections are estimates, not guarantees. Search engines and AI answer engines are third-party systems that change frequently and are outside our control. Corbin does not control, and cannot guarantee, any specific ranking, citation, placement, traffic, lead, or revenue outcome. Recommendations are informed suggestions; results depend on many factors beyond the Service, including how and whether you act on them and how third-party engines behave. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make based on the audit.

6. Subscriptions, billing and trials

Paid plans are billed on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annual) at the prices shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. Fees are stated in US dollars.

• Free trial: new customers may start a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to begin the trial.
• Cancel anytime: you can cancel from your account settings at any time. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep access through the end of the current billing period.
• Proration: if you upgrade or change plans mid-cycle, we prorate the difference for the remainder of the period.
• Refunds: except where required by law, fees already paid for a billing period are non-refundable.
• Price changes: we may change prices, and will give you advance notice before a change applies to your next renewal.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, content, and audit methodology, is owned by Corbin and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and your audit reports for your own internal business purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly republish the Service or reports without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the information you submit. You grant Corbin a license to use that information as needed to operate and provide the Service. We may use aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you to develop and improve the Service.

9. Third-party services

The Service may link to or interoperate with third-party websites, platforms, and services (for example, search engines, AI answer engines, maps, and directories). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Corbin does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that any data or score is complete or accurate, or that any specific ranking, visibility, traffic, or revenue result will be achieved by using the Service or following its recommendations.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORBIN AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID CORBIN IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR 50 US DOLLARS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Corbin and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, to the extent applicable, the state in which Corbin is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the courts located in the United States, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its rights.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice through the Service or by email before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
